If your focus is on IP value creation and the ways in which IP can be used to develop revenue streams, drive profits, enhance shareholder value, facilitate collaborative projects, secure freedom to operate and enable a whole raft of other strategic goals, then the three events that we are currently working on should be of major interest to you. In order, they are:
NPE 2015 – Taking place at the Convene Center in New York on 12th March, this one-day event is the most significant gathering of senior leaders in the NPE sector that has ever been held. They will be joined by Washington DC insiders, partners in major law firms and a range of investors to discuss the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions and the challenges posed by possible patent reform, as well as licensing best practices, new business models and the opportunities opening up in new sectors and jurisdictions outside the US. You can see a full programme here. As space at Convene is tight, there are only a few delegate places remaining, so if you wish to attend you are best advised to register as soon as possible.
IPBC China – Taking place in Beijing on 21st and 22nd of April, this invitation only event is being organised with the support of the Haidian District Government and in partnership with the Haidian IP Cooperation Organisation; the programme will be fully bilingual. It commences with a VIP welcome cocktail reception on the evening of 21st April, to be followed by a full-day of plenary sessions on 22nd April. The event will conclude with the key networking event, the China IP Elite Gala Dinner, that evening. There will be an audience of 250 delegates drawn primarily from three key groups: chief IP officers, heads of intellectual property or their equivalents at major Chinese enterprises; their counterparts at major multinationals; and leading IP investors, aggregators, intermediaries, regulators and service providers. For further information please contact Ms Bing Zhao.
IPBC Global – Our flagship event takes place at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco from 14th to 16th June. We are currently finalising the recruitment of yet another world class speaking faculty, while well over 300 people have so far signed up to attend. Under the banner of “IP Market 2.0”, the IPBC Global 2015 programme will take a detailed look at the developing IP landscape in the United States and abroad, and at how it affects not only IP owners big and small, but also aggregators, investors and intermediaries. This year, we are focusing very strongly on building a delegate base with a strong representation of senior corporate IP executives and are therefore strictly applying quotas for attendees from other parts of the IP market. For that reason, if you are planning to join us in San Francisco you are strongly advised to secure your place sooner rather than later. You can do so here.
And one to pencil in for later this year ...
IPBC Asia will take place at the Palace Hotel in Tokyo from 8th to 10th of November. More details, including a full programme, will be announced shortly.
