The search to find 2019’s entrants into the IP Hall of Fame continues

Nominations for outstanding IP professionals to be inducted into the IP Hall of Fame have been flowing in since IAM opened the annual selection process two weeks ago, but it is not too late for you to make your suggestions before the deadline of March 10^th.

If you know of an individual (living or deceased) who deserves to be celebrated for their extraordinary contribution to the development of today’s IP landscape, please tell us by completing this short form.

Nominees may have made their contribution as policy-makers, lawyers, business people, teachers or in any other capacity you care to think of. Over the years, people with all kinds of backgrounds have been selected – from inventor Nikola Tesla, through judges such as Pauline Newman and Robin Jacob, to legendary dealmakers like Ruud Peters and Marshall Phelps. 

You may make several suggestions, but self-nominations or those made clearly promotional purposes will be rejected.

All valid nominations will be sent (anonymously) to the IP Hall of Fame Academy, which contains past inductees and other recognised industry leaders. Its members will then decide which individuals to induct in 2019.

This year’s inductees will be announced in April, before being honoured at a special event at IPBC Global 2019 in Boston this June.
