IPBC Asia all set for Tokyo this autumn

After a three-year absence, IPBC Asia will be returning as a live, in-person event at The Westin in Tokyo from 31 October to 2 November. This will be the first opportunity that the region’s corporate IP leaders, as well as those from further afield, have had to get together to discuss the ways in which the pandemic has affected their strategic thinking and their day-to-day priorities, as well as how they see the future panning out in what is one of the world’s major IP hotspots.

With a programme and a speaking faculty designed to produce must-have insights across a range of pressing issues, while maximising networking opportunities, IPBC Asia is an event that no-one with an interest in this dynamic region will want to miss.

A special feature of this year’s IPBC Asia, as it has been at all previous events, will be the Asia IP Elite Gala Dinner. This is designed to salute the achievements of the companies identified by IAM as being those that lead across the region in their use of IP as a strategic asset to further overall corporate aims. With representatives from many of the 80 entities in attendance, the dinner is a fantastic opportunity to meet Asia’s IP leaders face-to-face.

Following recent relaxations, Japan is now open for business travel once more, with visas available to the citizens of any country which had visa-free travel to the country prior to the pandemic. IAM is able to help in the visa procurement process.

As with all other IPBCs, strict quotas for attendees working in different sectors are being applied for IPBC Asia 2022. With demand for delegate places already high, if you want to join us in Tokyo this autumn, you are strongly advised to register as soon as possible. You can do so here.
