Low Jin Wei is an IP strategist and client lead at IPOS International, part of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). In line with the Singapore Intellectual Property Strategy 2030, IPOS International helps companies realise tangible value from their intangible assets for growth.
Ms Low has more than a decade’s experience advising both businesses and public agencies on IP matters across industries ranging from telecoms to medical technology and IT to manufacturing and retail.
At the national level, Ms Low has served in multiple functions across the broader IPOS Group, including developing guidelines for government agencies to manage their intellectual property more effectively. She lends her experience with enterprises to cross-agency IP management programmes to help enterprises grow through intangible assets and intellectual property. She was also pivotal to conceptualising how companies can identify and communicate intangible assets information under the Intangible Disclosure Evaluation and Audit Scheme spearheaded by IPOS and the Singapore Exchange. Ms Low is a key member of the inter-agency team that developed the Singapore IP Strategy 2030.
Ms Low is a registered management consultant with the Institute of Management Consultants. She holds an honours degree in biological sciences from Nanyang Technological University and has a graduate diploma from Singapore Management University in communication management and innovation. She also holds a master’s in intellectual property and innovation management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
