Lai Ye Siang is an IP strategist at IPOS International, part of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). In line with the Singapore Intellectual Property Strategy 2030, IPOS International helps companies realise tangible value from their intangible assets for growth.
Mr Lai advises both public agencies and innovative enterprises on intellectual property management and strategy. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in the automation and automotive sectors as a former engineer, and understands first-hand the IP challenges arising in highly technical fields.
At the national level, Mr Lai empowers Singapore government agencies on IP management and policy matters for IP creation, ownership, protection and commercialisation, through strategic advisory aligned with the National IP Protocol.
