Lawrence Horn's Profile

Lawrence Horn is president and CEO of MPEG LA LLC, the world’s leading provider of one-stop licences for standards and other technology platforms. MPEG LA pioneered the modern-day patent pool, helping to produce the most widely used standards in consumer electronics history. MPEG LA has operated licensing programmes consisting of more than 26,000 patents in 102 countries, with more than 280 patent holders and some 7,300 licensees.
