Before joining Xero in 2018, Ms White spent 10 years working in leading IP firms in both New Zealand (AJ Park) and Australia (Davies Collison Cave). She then took up the position of senior in-house patent counsel at Danone, based at their global R&D centre in Singapore.
Ms White is both passionate about, and well versed in intellectual property. She shares this passion and knowledge with the wider legal community through speaking at conferences; teaching courses at various universities; and consulting at the WIPO, including tutoring for its patent drafting course taught across Southeast Asia. Her commitment to the profession also extends to engaging with industry and government on a range of IP issues, including law reform proposals and IP office practices.
