Steve Duxbury has extensive experience in international patent disputes and in the drafting of freedom-to-operate assessments. He has expert knowledge of the differences between European and American patent law. His British nationality is an advantage in European proceedings.
He studied chemistry at London University, specialising in organic chemistry. He has been working at Arnold & Siedsma since 1993, running the Munich office. His work is primarily concerned with proceedings and oppositions at the European Patent Office in the fields of pharmaceuticals, general chemistry, petrochemicals and diagnostic medical equipment.
He is expert in marrying the requirements of US applicants to the requirements of the EPO.
