“Onsagers is the leading patent agent firm in Norway”. The outfit is well-regarded for its strong technical insight and capabilities in portfolio management, especially within the local exports industry. A testament to its strength, six of its practitioners – Kari Simonsen, Kim Livgard, Dorte Lajer, Per Reiner, Endre Woldstad and Edmund André Høydahl – are ranked in the IAM Patent 1000 this year. “Kari is one of the best life science patent attorneys in Norway.” “She is proactive, responsive and has in-depth knowledge of EPO case law. “Her strategic mind and ability to explain complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand way makes her a vital asset to any litigation team”. “Kim provides exceptional expert assistance when it comes to both Norwegian and European patent law.” As one client emphasises: “Kim is our first choice because she is flexible, creative and easy to work with.” Chemical engineer and European patent attorney Lajer provides bespoke advice to a wide range of customers, from start-ups and SMEs to multinationals. She handles everything from drafting and filing to freedom-to-operate analyses and validity assessments. Also on deck is dual-qualified Reiner, who puts patrons at ease. He is a go-to for those looking to protect their rights in Scandinavia, as well as the rest of Europe.
