Camilla Rendal Nielsen has worked as patent attorney since 1997 and joined Zacco in 2010. She has experience with a range of existing and emerging technologies gained from time in-house with a major automotive brand in Germany, her own private practice and her current consultancy work. Her international experience has seen her work in Europe and North America but her expertise in Asian markets, specifically China, has given her a practical understanding of international ‘real-world’ patent value. She holds an MSc in applied physics from the Technical University of Denmark.

Her work includes drafting, prosecution, oppositions and appeals before the EPO and the Danish Patent and Trademark office. Her clients include startups and SMEs alongside multinational clients with global portfolios.

She is patent director for Zacco Denmark & Germany, and her peers cite her as a trusted and knowledgeable colleague who works tirelessly to help establish Zacco’s position in the marketplace.
