We have received hundreds of submissions since we launched the research process for the 2018 edition of IAM Strategy 300 at the end of September, but there is still time to make a nomination before the closing date of 29th November.
The IAM Strategy 300 is a unique guide to the world’s leading IP strategists, published annually since 2009. It serves as an indispensable tool for those seeking to find IP experts with the proven ability to use intellectual property to increase bottom-line returns or to create other forms of value.
It is the recommendations we receive from the IP community each year which allow the IAM Strategy 300 to serve as an up-to-the-minute and comprehensive guide to the world’s leading IP strategists. So if you know any professionals who excel in the optimisation of IP value please nominate them here. We would like to hear about candidates involved in all aspects of IP strategy, from lawyers – in both corporate and private practice roles – to consultants, university professionals and economic experts.
This year we are looking to receive recommendations for professionals who are not in the current edition of the IAM Strategy 300, but who nominators believe merit inclusion in the 2018 guide. We researched the 2017 edition from scratch, so those professionals included in the current guide automatically qualify for the 2018 edition (providing they still work in IP). Our main focus this year, then, is to uncover those top-flight IP strategists who have eluded us in previous research cycles.
Nominations will be accepted until 29th November 2017. After that, those individuals with at least three nominations from people outside their own organisation will be added to our longlist. They will be contacted and asked to provide any information which they believe supports their case for inclusion in the guide. Taking this information – and the original nominations – into account, the IAM team will then decide on the short list of professionals to be included in the IAM Strategy 300 2018.
Nominations for candidates in the same organisation and self-nominations will not be accepted. All nominations are strictly confidential.
