Senior Partner at Zacco
Linda Melin Granberg joined Zacco in 2012. She is a European patent attorney and an authorised patent attorney in Sweden.
Ms Melin Granberg graduated in 2001 from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, with an MSc in materials technology. She also has a graduate degree from the University of Strasbourg in European patent litigation.
With a background as both a patent examiner at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office and an in-house patent attorney responsible for one of the business areas of a multinational company, she has gained a thorough understanding of the considerations, opportunities and challenges faced on both sides of the fence. With this understanding, she entered private practice in 2007 and accepted a role as deputy head of the patent department and a member of the management team of one of Sweden’s oldest IP firms.

She has extensive experience in oral proceedings – particularly inter partes proceedings –before the EPO. She is also an experienced lecturer and mentor.
Her clients include individual university-based inventors, small and medium-sized companies and multinational industrial companies, both domestic and foreign. Her fields of technical expertise include materials technology, metallurgy, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, inorganic chemistry, process technology and mechanics. She also frequently works within other technical fields. Her clients appreciate her business-oriented outlook and her ability to understand complex technical aspects of inventions.
