Björn Rundblom Andersson graduated from Uppsala University in 2009 and has practised law since then. He is a member of the Swedish Bar Organisation and joined Westerberg & Partners as a partner in 2019.
Mr Rundblom Andersson specialises in IP law and dispute resolution, as well as in arbitration law, with a background in international arbitration.
His practice mainly involves contentious matters with a focus on patents, trade secrets and contracts related to IP rights. Mr Rundblom Andersson frequently acts in Sweden for clients in internationally coordinated, multi-jurisdictional litigation. He also represents clients in international arbitration with an IP angle. Mr Rundblom Andersson represents clients from a variety of industry sectors and technical fields, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, mechanical engineering and fintech. He has participated in some of the largest and most complex disputes in Sweden in recent years.
Mr Rundblom Andersson has argued cases before the specialised IP courts, the Swedish Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He has also acted before several arbitral tribunals.
Mr Rundblom Andersson is a member of IP law-focused organisations such as the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property; he frequently writes and lectures on IP-related issues.
