While Claudia Milbradt (Germany) and Miquel Montañá (Spain) are the point of contacts on lP-related matters in continental Europe, Stephen Reese leads the UK IP practice and Ling Ho heads the Asia-Pacific IP litigation practice.
Ms Milbradt specialises in patent and trademark litigation (eg, preliminary injunction proceedings, action on the merits, nullity actions and invalidity proceedings) strategic advice for cross-border IP litigation and the acquisition and divestiture of technology. She has broad IP expertise and a deep knowledge of the industry. Ms Milbradt regularly advises clients regarding technology transfer and R&D agreements. She delivers valuable input to IP strategies, as well as to all IP aspects of technology-driven M&A transactions. Ms Milbradt is supported by counsel Florian Reiling and four further associates.
Alongside Ms Montañá, partner Josep Montefusco specialises in civil and contentious-administrative litigation, mainly in industrial property, unfair competition and advertising law. Further, he is responsible for Clifford Chance’s technology group in Spain.
Mr Reese is an experienced IP specialist advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of IP rights. He advises broadly on strategy and the protection, exploitation and enforcement of IP rights, including patents, trademarks, designs, trade secrets and copyright.
Alongside Mr Reese, experienced partner Vanessa Marsland works on litigious and advisory work in the digital space, including high-end graphics processing, blockchain and software design work, as well as substantial volumes of brands-related work.
Ling Ho has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on lP-related matters in Mainland China and across Asia-Pacific. Her expertise covers the full spread of contentious and non-contentious IP issues. She has extensive trial, deal and strategic counselling experience, and has acted in leading cases in the fields of trademarks, patents, copyright and designs to confidential information. She is regularly involved in negotiating and drafting IP-related agreements for clients investing into Asian markets.
