Uli Foerstl is a German qualified lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in litigating IP rights. He is a bar-certified expert in IP law and represents clients in IP infringement proceedings in the relevant courts across Germany, in both first-instance and appellate proceedings. He has litigated patent cases in different technical fields and was part of the litigation team defending the seminal Orange Book Standard case, leading to the first German Supreme Court judgment relating to the fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory defence. Mr Foerstl is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and acts as a panellist for domain name disputes administered by the Czech Arbitration Court with regard to the ‘.eu’ domain and under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.
