Kyu-Bin Lim

Patent Attorney, Kim & Chang

Kyu-Bin Lim joined Kim & Chang in 2003 and is a patent attorney in the electrical and software practice. He was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 2001. Before joining the firm, he worked at Park, Kim & Partner. Mr Lim received a BSc in radio communication from Yonsei University in 2002 and an LLM from the University of Southern California, School of Law in 2009. He has been providing IP counselling and advice to many major technology companies since he joined the firm.

Mr Lim specialises in various areas relating to electronics, including wireless communications, displays, semiconductors and internet technology. His practice covers a wide range of intellectual property matters, including prosecution of patent applications, invalidation and confirmation of scope actions before the Korean Intellectual Property Office and the Patent Court, client counselling on the Korean IP system and patent filing strategy.
