Kim Lu has 13 years’ experience in IP litigation and prosecution in China. He represents domestic and foreign companies in contentious and noncontentious matters, and is highly experienced in patent regulations in China, Taiwan and the United States.

His practice focuses on patent infringement and invalidation actions, patent prosecution, unfair competition litigation and antitrust litigation. He has legal and technical expertise in telecoms SEP infringement, FRAND royalty rate determination, antitrust related to SEP licensing, as well as infringement and validity related to communication systems, among others.

He has published several articles in Managing Intellectual Property and Wolters Kluwer’s China Law & Reference. He is among the translators of Janice M Mueller’s book Patent Law.
