Carlos Fuentes Alvarado is an associate at the Basham, Ringe & Correa in the intellectual property area in the Mexico City office. He focuses on patent filing, designs, licensing, transfer of rights, consulting and industrial property strategy, both nationally and internationally. He is an active member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.

He graduated from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico in 1996, and received an LLM in intellectual property, commerce and technology from the University of New Hampshire, formerly the Franklin Pierce Law Center. In addition, he has studied various intellectual property courses.
