DoJ antitrust chief Delrahim headlines IAM’s Patent Licensing in San Francisco next week
Next Tuesday, September 18, IAM’s Patent Licensing event returns to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Club at the Presidio with its strongest ever line-up.
This year’s Keynote, Makan Delrahim – Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division of the US Department of Justice - will address a rapidly developing and business-critical issue: the antitust/patent licensing nexus. Given what he has previously had to say on the issue, Delrahim’s speech is not to be missed – and neither will be the reaction to it, from conference delegates and other speakers.
In addition to the Delrahim keynote, five sessions – featuring 11 of the US’s top 75 patent owners – will provide indispensable insight into successful transaction trends from both licensees and licensors, as well as key pointers to ensuring sustainable, responsible deal-making.
From TiVo and Ericsson detailing their world class licensing strategies to Qualcomm, Nokia and Cisco discussing (and maybe even agreeing!) what is fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory, Patent Licensing 2018 is essential for anyone involved in IP-based dealmaking.
