Help us to find the world’s leading IP strategists
The research process for the 2018 edition of IAM Strategy 300 starts today and we want you to take part. More precisely, let us know who you consider to be a world leading IP strategist by visiting our research website and filling in the form (click here).
Since 2009, the IAM Strategy 300 has served as an essential tool for those seeking to identify IP professionals – whether corporate, legal or advisory - who excel in the creation and roll-out of strategies designed to maximise the value of intellectual property. To ensure that the directory continues to give authoritative and up-to-the-minute guidance, we are once again asking the IP community to get involved in the nomination process.
For the 2018 edition of the guide, we would especially like to receive nominations for IP strategists who are not currently featured in the IAM Strategy 300, but who nominators feel should be considered for 2018. We began the research from scratch for the 2017 guide and, because things do not change that much in one year, the 2018 guide – like every alternate edition – will automatically feature all the professionals included in the previous year (providing they still work in IP). The priority this year, then, is to identify those top-notch strategists who were not brought to our attention last time.
We are seeking to identify candidates from across the IP strategy spectrum – from private practice lawyers and corporate counsel, to economic experts, consultants and research institution professionals. If they have a proven track record of expertise in using intellectual property to boost bottom-line returns or creating value in other ways, then we want to hear about them.
To be considered for inclusion in the guide, a candidate must receive a minimum of three nominations from outside the organisation in which they work. Those who reach this threshold will be added to our longlist. Longlisted individuals will then be contacted and asked to provide background information which they think supports their nomination. After reviewing this information, and the results of our own research, the IAM team will choose the individuals to be included in the IAM Strategy 300 2018.
If you would like to nominate individuals for potential inclusion in the IAM Strategy 300, please visit our nomination website at http://research.globebmg.com/Nomination/Strategy300-2018 .
Self-nominations and nominations from individuals working in the same organisation as the nominee will not be accepted.
The nomination process closes on 29th November 2017. We look forward to receiving your suggestions, and if, in the meantime, you have any questions about the research, please contact [email protected]
