Beantown bonanza

Boston played host to the sixth global IP Business Congress (IPBC) this June. A sell-out crowd of more than 600delegates, from all parts of the IP community and based in more than 30 countries, attended. Over the course ofthe three-day event, a wide range of subjects were debated – from patent reform in the United States, throughemerging IP investment opportunities in Europe and Asia, to evolving IP monetisation models and the developingrole of the chief IP officer. As ever at the IPBC, a multiplicity of opinions were expressed. But of one thing everyonewas certain: we are living in interesting times
