Ronald Lemieux has served as lead counsel in more than 200 IP cases for clients including ASUS, ASMedia Technologies, AT&T Mobility, ChipMOS Technologies, FIC, HTC, Konami Digital Entertainment, MediaTek, Olympus, Pegatron, PINC Solutions, Rohm, Royal Sluis, Sakata Seeds, Silicon Graphics, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Sumitronics, Tandem Computers and Winbond.
Mr Lemieux has tried more than 20 jury and non-jury trials in courtrooms nationwide, and has argued several successful appeals before the Federal Circuit. Mr Lemieux has been recognised as a Northern California Super Lawyer every year since 2012 and by Chambers & Partners in its global and Asia editions every year since 2010. Chambers notes that Mr Lemieux is “particularly renowned for his patent [litigation] work and enjoys a fine reputation amongst clients in the software, semiconductor, retail, and consumer products arenas”. Mr Lemieux has been described by Legal 500 as a “leading litigator across a number of patent areas, particularly the high-tech sectors emanating from Silicon Valley”. Mr Lemieux has been recognised as a Client Service All-Star by general counsel of the Fortune 1000 and was selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society recognising the top 5% of trial lawyers nationwide, in 2009. Before founding Singularity LLP, Mr Lemieux was a partner and member of the partnership selection committee at Cooley LLP for a number of years and a founding partner of the Palo Alto office of Paul Hastings.
