Herrero & Asociados (H&A) has 30 years of successful history and has grown into one of the leading IP firms in Europe and Latin America. It provides full IP services as well as services in other related fields such as copyright, unfair competition, data protection, information technology and new media law.
H&A was founded as a Spanish law firm, gradually opening offices in the 10 largest cities of Spain.
After consolidating its leadership in the domestic market, H&A resolved to become an international IP player and set about opening branch offices in other countries. Given the cultural and linguistic ties to Portugal and Latin America, offices were established abroad in Portugal, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina
H&A has earned worldwide recognition in its sector through many international awards and directory listings.
Extending our range of services and locations has not altered our commitment to provide clients with tailored solutions. We believe that only by providing personalised services adapted to the needs and preferences of each and every client will we comply with the highest professional standards.
At H&A, our professionalism is blended with a friendly approach. We combine the strength and manpower of a large-scale law firm with personal consulting.
We provide one contact person for every client; every client deals with a specific person who may be contacted at any time. That person shall be the client’s interlocutor and will have full information on that client.
We also believe in having a professional for every service. H&A renders distinct services involving various technical areas. That is why the same professional cannot and should not prepare a patent specification, prosecute a trademark, draw up an agreement or be involved in a trademark or patent infringement or unfair competition action, consult in advertising disputes before the Advertising Standards Association and register a domain or issue a report concerning compliance with data protection laws. We are confident that area-related specialisation provides for more valuable services.
