The firm files and prosecutes patent applications in Spain, Europe and Latin America, and defends them before national IP offices, the EU Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation, as well as national and international courts. We have also established the PONS Foundation – a non-profit organisation whose main objective is to raise awareness of the importance of the defense, investment and development of intellectual property and R&D for economic and social development. In order to channel this objective, the PONS Foundation, together with the King Juan Carlos University, launched the PONS master’s in intellectual property, competition and new technologies. It is one of the most renowned master’s in its sector in Spain and is in its twelfth year.
