Johannes Heselberger, together with Tilman Müller-Stoy, heads the firm’s patent litigation group.
His main areas of practice involve patent infringement and validity litigation, including opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office, as well as nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court and the German Federal Court of Justice. His technical fields of expertise include medical devices, telecommunications and the automotive industry.
Mr Heselberger has successfully conducted important patent infringement proceedings, often across national borders, representing both small and medium-sized enterprises and major companies, with clients who are world leaders in their respective fields of technology.
With his multiple qualifications as an attorney at law and a European patent attorney, he is able to handle both the legal and technical aspects of a case.
Mr Heselberger regularly speaks on topics in the fields of patent infringement and patent valuation. He also teaches patent law at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre.
