It’s raining in England and the thermometer is falling, so it’s time for the IAM blog to take its annual summer holiday. I will be recharging my batteries for the next two weeks watching the storms roll in off the English channel down in beautiful Devon, while Jack Ellis in Hong Kong and Richard Lloyd in Washington DC chase down stories and build their contact books. They will be posting from time to time; but we'll be back again properly from 1st September.

In the meantime, a big thank-you to everyone who has followed us this year - Google Analytics tells me that the IAM website has had 126,362 unique users since the start of January, who between them have visited us 208,776 times. We have far more readers in the US (44% of the total) than anywhere else. The rest of the top 10 is currently made up of the UK, Germany, India, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, France, Australia and Singapore.

Within the US, the top 10 states from which we get visitors are: California, New York, Texas, Illinois, Washington, Virginia, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The top 10 non-US cities we get most visitors from are: London, Munich, New Delhi, Toronto, Singapore, Ottawa, Chiyoda, Seoul, Taipei City and Paris.
