What else could the USPTO Director have said? 09 May 10
Last Wednesday, USPTO Director David Kappos appeared before the House of Representative's Committee on the Judiciary to talk about the on-going attempts to get patent reform through the US Congress. It looks like he came under a little bit of pressure. Some committee members were not too keen on answers he gave when asked whether he would favour legislation that specifically ended diversion and gave the office fee setting powers if it became obvious that a broader Patent Reform Act would not be passed.
