Patent deal numbers continue to rise, but prices stay flat as sellers get realistic about values 11 Oct 15
The number of patent transactions continues to rise, with the total for 2015 looking like it will outstrip last year’s figure, according to Linda Biel, vice-president of business development at defensive patent aggregator Allied Security Trust (AST). Speaking to IAM last week, Biel noted that 2014 itself had been a busy year, with sales up around 50% on the 2013 numbers.
